Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Stuffed with purple wool battings from my stash.

Mods

• used lifted increases,
• hat cast on 36 st and increased to 40 on r 6, knit 25 r shorter,
• body knit 15 r shorter, used old beads to make it bottom heavy,
• knit nose and beard on smaller needles, started beard on r 5 and slipped first & last st on every WS r and knit them on the RS,
• cat knit body a liitle shorter and tail over 4 st.
