Using a spare DPN to pick up stitches for welts.

Stuffed with assorted wool battings from my stash.

Mods

• using lifted or backward loop increases,
• cast on 36 st for hat but increased as pattern,
• picked up 36 st for body so knit one less increase, also made slightly shorter by excluding seven plain rows,
• arms 3+18 r,
• improvised nose 5 st x 12 r stockinet folded together,
• beard CO 5 st and knit 18 r without increases or decreases.
