• Have made matching halfmitts.
• I’m doing the Steampunk version.

Mods

• Cast on 264 stitches with the eyelash yarn and knitted 10 rows of hot pink + burgundy on 3.75mm needles.
• Changed to 4.5mm needles for the corrugated ribbing. Using the Mille Colori Baby as MC and the various leftovers as CC.
• To avoid the unsightly MC purl bumps I’m always knitting the first round K+K.
• First section: 3+3 for 12 & 6 & 4 rows.
• Intersection: for 2nd row knit4 knit2tog = decrease 44 stitches = 220 stitches left.
• Second section: 3+2 for 9 rows. For 2nd row between k2tog k3= decrease 44 stitches = 176 stitches left. 2+2 for 6 & 3 rows.
• Intersection: for 2nd row knit2 k2tog =decrase 44 stitches = 132 stitches left.
• Third section: 2+2 for 9 rows. For 2nd row between k2 k2tog + k2 = decrease 32 stitches = 100 stitches left. Changed to DPNs. 2+2 for 6 & 3 rows.
• 8 rows with the eyelash yarn on 3.5mm needles. Cast off.
