Pattern is a little too wordy for me. It’s much easier for me to follow a more condensed pattern. The result is adorable however. Well worth every unnecessary word - and all the sewing too :-)
Admiral is splittier than Regia :-/
Buttons from my own stash. They’re a bit greener in reality than they look in the photos.

Mods

• Used lifted increases instead of kfb.
• Forelegs: Knitted 15 rows of MC and 10 of the MC+CC pattern.
• Ears: Made the inner ear fit better by knitting 3 rows at the start instead of four and making the outer ear 9st instead of eight.

Timeline
2016-02-09: Finished the body, three legs, and the ears.
2016-02-10: Finished the knitting. Forgot to block the body yesterday so no assembly until tomorrow.
2016-02-11: Assembled him. More sewing than I really like but none of it was very fiddly.
