Great pattern for people like me who get easily bored with too repetitive patterns. I don’t like the cdd decreases on the toe though. If I make it again I’ll use standard decreases.

Mods

• knitting the narrow version with extra short leg and short foot,
• made a 10 row rolled cuff so cast on 69 st,
• knitted heel flap in plain stockinet and knit first and slipped last st on all rows,
• made heel flap 2 rows longer,
• did a slipstitch heel turn since that’s were I wear out my socks first,
• picked up 1 extra gusset st on each side, decreased away these 2 extra st with a cdd after finishing other gusset decreases,
• for toe decreases used sl2kwise sl1kwise k3togtbl instead and decreased every row until 8 st left.

2017-10-20: Finished second sock.
