General
With needles this large my tighter gauge at small circumferences isn’t enough to warrant the use of a larger size for the sleeves. The same goes for the stranded colourwork.
Used shortrows from Telja to rise shoulders and neck.

- started with the sleeves,
- sleeve ribbing 14 r,
- trying out catching floats on the round after and it’s working quite well with these short repeats, cathing floats for more than 3 st on sleeves & hem and for more than 5 on yoke,
- using lifted increases,
- did 20 increases on sleeves = 88 st, knit 1 more r after finishing incr = 54 cm, put 18 st on holder = 70 st left,
- cast on 222 st for body (18 st extra), ribbing 12 r, increase 1 st in each side after chart 1 = 224 st, put 3 st extra on each holder = 14 st extra for yoke (with the 10 st extra from the sleeves this made 3 more pattern repeats) = 328 st for yoke,
- used German shortrows (double stitch) to rise shoulders and neck 3 pairs before and 3 pairs after joining sleeves,
- joining sleeves after 50 cm,
- used dark grey instead of black for middle and end of yoke pattern + neck,
- k1 k2tog all through first row after finishin yoke pattern = 82 st left,
- neck ribbing 8 r.
