Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Stuffed with red wool battings from my stash.

Mods

• knit hat as pattern but stopped after r 45,
• using lifted increases,
• knit body without pocket and 4 r shorter, used old beads to make it bottom heavy,
• knit nose & beard on smaller needles,
• started beard on r 5 and slipped first and last st on all WS r and knit them on RS,
• knit arms 2 r shorter (3+18),
• knit cat striped (1+1r) with shorter body and tail over 4 st.
