I’d forgotten how much I dislike doing corrugated ribbing on DPNs.

Mods

• Used 3.5mm needles for the mitten proper and 3.75 for the thumbs.
• Using lifted increases.
• Crocheted (4mm hook) across the bottom of the cuffs with brown to hide the ugly light purl bumps.

Timeline
2016-08-21: Finished the first mitten.
2016-08-22: Started on the second mitten.
2016-08-25: After having washed the first mitten I’ve decided that these don’t have to be lined. They’re thick enough already.
2016-08-27: Finished the second mitten. Washed and waiting for it to dry.
