Note to self: If I’m making these again don’t decrease the last couple of lines in the back. They’re a little tight around the ankle now.

• Mille Colori Socks & Lace looks very much like Marks & Katten’s Fame but it’s softer and not nearly as varied in thickness. And it’s quite sticky which helps counteract the Fabel & Admiral which aren’t sticky at all and not really suitable for colourwork.
• I dont think I can see the point of working toe-up. It’s a very fiddly way to start compared to ordinary casting-on and I don’t like the angular shape of the toe. The heel turn is also fiddly and awkward and looks a bit iffy.
• I love the pattern though. It’s not difficult but varied enough to keep me interested. I keep thinking “Just one more row…” :-) And the end result is lovely.
