I’m not completely happy with how the yoke turned out. The decreases ought to have been spaced out better. As it is they’re placed too late and are too abrupt. Happily knitted fabric is very malleable so I don’t think it’s too visible. And I’m far too lazy to reknit it

Main changes from pattern: slight A-line instead of waist-shaping and added applied i-cord at hems instead of starting with stockinet.

Note to self: Knit applied i-cord in contrasting colour from the wrong side. It looks neater that way.

My gauge is off so I’m re-calculating as I go.

Mods

• MC Nyponröd, CC1 Vit, CC2-4 Ulla,
• using same size needles all through,
• sleeves: cast on 48 st with CC1, k3p1 ribbing 10 r, knit 5 r after colourwork before first increase, then increased every 7th r 15 more times + 1 more according to pattern = 81 st, knit 5 cm more, applied 3st i-cord to CO edge with CC3,
• body: cast on 264 st, i-cord and ribbing as on sleeves, after colourwork decreased 4 st every 10th r 10 times, knit 6 more r after shortrows,
• yoke: after shortrows knit 12 plain r before starting colourwork, using ladderback jacquard for the longest floats.

Timeline
2018-11-03: Decided the sleeve was too tight around the wrist so had to unravel all and start over with more st cast on.
2018-11-05: Finished first sleeve and started on second.
2018-11-06: Finished second sleeve.
2018-11-07: Started body.
2018-11-12: Finished body.
2018-11-13: Started on yoke.
2018-11-18: Finished yoke. Only i-cord BO and grafting UA left.
2018-11-19: Finished!!
