General
MC Amethyst, CC1 Raspberry, CC2 Caracas - knit cuffs, heelflaps, and toes with CC1 and stranded colourwork with MC & CC2.

Realised I would run out of contrasting yarn if I knit repeat as pattern so frogged leg and knit as this instead: 5 r MC + 2 r pattern + 4 r MC + 5 r pattern + 5 r MC = 21 r. (So of course I ran out of MC instead because I’d forgotten to recalculate that!)

Mods

• cuff 12 r,
• leg three pattern repeats,
• heelflap 32 r plain stockinet, slipped first and last st on all WS r, round heel,
• picked up 19+1 st on each side for gusset and knit these through the backloop on the next r, decreased every second r until 36 st left on sole,
• foot three pattern repeats + 5 r MM + 1 r CC1,
• toe decreased every third r until 52 st left, every second r until 32 st left and then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through.
