SFS cast-on post: #176 (underappreciated pattern), bind-off post: #444

Instead of the twisted decreases described in the pattern I’m using the ones I used in this project. (Similar to the ones used here.)

Mods

• changed the stitch sequence in the ribbing to better match the first row of the setup chart,
• ribbing 12 r,
• leg set-up chart + chart A + chart B until r 60,
• heelflap 28 r plain stockinet decreasing 2 st on the first r, slip first and last st on all WS r, round heel,
• traditional gusset picking up 17+1 st on each side and knit through the backloop on the first r, decreased every second r until 28 st left on sole,
• foot chart B from r 61 + chart C + chart D until r 132,
• toe decreased every second r until 24 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through.
