I loved learning this new technique - starting from the corner and working out! Changed “ch 2, counts as 1st hdc”, to “ch 1, hdc in same st” to make the ends fuller and so keep the rows more even and not subject to narrowing on the ends.

SS yarn is thinner worsted so added a sc row of off white around the outside border of the beg off white square to flesh it out. Thinner yarn also required working 18 rows , then adding a dc border on one side and a sc border on another to bring it up to 6”.
