I’m itching to cast this on! Schoolwork first! Maybe….

I started on 4s throwing, but the fabric looked really odd. Worse than uneven. I ripped it all out and started again on 5s (I hate taking needles from other projects, but it had to be done. :P), picking, and doing m1l instead of kfb. It’s looking loads better.

For the decreases, I’m doing k1, k2tog instead of knitting the first 2 stitches of the row together. I think these mods will help me pick up stitches in the next part of the pattern. I’ll tell you what: increasing wasn’t so bad and didn’t take too terribly long, but decreasing seems like it’s taking forever!

On to the edging! It’s taking fooooooooooreveeeeeeeeeeer. For realz this time. I don’t know if I can have it done in a week. :P

I was nominated for a prize in HPHC for this. Too bad I was so down-to-the-wire I couldn’t get a great photo, but it’s an honor either way. :)
