This is my new favorite sock yarn (though I’m not sure I had a favorite before…)! I’ve decided that as soon as I have cleared my stash of sock yarn, I will indulge and treat myself to a subscription to the Hedgehog Fibres Sock Club.

The pattern is very simple, easy to remember and keep track of, and fits very comfortably. I can see why so many people knit multiple pairs. I will certainly knit a few more. I’ll lengthen the cuffs in the future, though. I have quite a bit of yarn left over.

I did alter the toes so they are slanted. My toes are slanted, so it seemed a natural choice. I decreased on the pink-toe side of the foot every round for 16 rounds, then did every other round on both sides of the foot twice. This is shaping I’m probably going to mess with a bit because I ended up with 12 sts left over, which is more than ideal, but right now it fits my toes perfectly. I did it with help from this blog post.
