I need a wise, wide-eyed watcher to keep guard of my heart. Keeping me warm is all the better!
I’m thinking…yellow!
I really have to book it on this guy if I’m going to get it done before the snow falls. :S
This is going super quickly! And it’s mindless therapy for my over-worked mind. I was a little mistrusting of the waist-shaping, but I tried it on and it fits amazingly well! My gauge is 3.75 or 4 sts/in, so I’m knitting a size larger than I would otherwise. I hope it comes out a little larger than skin-tight. So far it looks like it will.
Named for a song on Keith Urban’s new album because I think he’s right (and there are birds in it). :)
I frogged the shaping and plan to knit it shapelessly. Once I get to the boobies, I’ll pop a few more stitches in there. On the front, though, where the boobies live, not on the back.
I had to start again. I needed more stitches to get the fit I wanted, so I cast on 124, decreased at the waist to 100, and increased again to 120. I’m going to try to follow the pattern(ish) to the end (decrease 4 stitches before armpit and follow M directions). My stockinette is looking a little funky. I’m hoping I can either block or will it away. It could be worse.
Dear sleeves, you are made of bulky yarn, you should be done in five seconds. Did you lose the memo? Love, Vanessa.
I made lots of changes and didn’t keep track, but it fits wonderfully. I think a block will help it even more!
Blocked it (by simply hanging it on a hanger :S) and it fits absolutely perfectly! I’m so excited about it!
