This has been a really fun, easy knit! I would have charted the scallops differently. The directions aren’t one hundred percent clear on how to switch colors, so I relied mostly on the pictures to figure it out.

The lining situation makes this a rather difficult pattern. Having read the instructions, I know I’m going to have to consult a sewer (which I am not, but aspire to be). They do look very thorough and helpful. I found the perfect fabric, so I’m pretty excited. :)

The lining is a touch longer than the knitted bag, which causes some liner-poof at the zipper. My hand-sewn zipper looks totally handmade on the inside. Aside from that, it’s really perfect. :)
