Notes

I really like this pattern! The beads will be a first for me. I might need my friend to explain it to me, though I think I’ve seen it done before. I’m a little iffy about the super girly cuffs, but they are SO PRETTY that I just have to do them!

I’m really on the fence about this pattern. It looks really pretty, but it’s not really me. I’m a Spartan sock girl and these are Persian, to be sure. :) That said, I’ve got one sock done to the toe. The beads were fun, but the pattern is just vague enough to have me confused and now I don’t think the toe is going to come out quite right. :/ I may frog in favor of vanilla socks. I don’t know what I’ll do with the beads….

Ripped and found a vanilla sock pattern. I think I made the right decision.

I incorporated the beads on the front outside needle for each leg in basic stockinette by just randomly placing them (like stars!). The socks are knee-high (had to increase 13 sts before the calf) and fit great! The one I made for the right foot fits the left better (my left foot is larger than my right), so the beads actually now work out so that they are on the inside of the legs. Maybe after I wash them, I can get them on their intended feet. :) I’m very pleased!
