Notes

Even though I’m using fingering weight, my gauge is pretty damn close to called-for. It’s not too airy or too tight, so I’ll keep it on 7s. I may use straight needles, though, so I hope that doesn’t change anything too drastically. This is going to be so pretty!!!

I think I may only need one skein, but it might be close. This pattern is genius. No finishing beyond three ends! It’s moving much faster now that I know the lace pattern by heart and can take the project everywhere with me.

Ran out of yarn at the 20th repeat on the second half. I’ll still have enough of this second skein for the second Different Lines I have planned. :D I’ve gotten into the habit of not blocking with pins anymore (not that I have a surface in which to stick pins anyway), so I was a little worried about how this would come out. I’ve just barely laid it out on a towel on top of the washer and dryer and the wool is sticking to the towel so well that I don’t need pins! I did have to double the scarf in my limited space, so the half that is lying on top isn’t quite so eager to stay put, but it’s pretty darn close, so I won’t go after the pins. It’s SO GORGEOUS blocked!
