RESURRECTED & FINISHED, RAVELYMPICS 2010
NOTES to Self: Need to start making socks longer, with deeper heels & wider toes.
02/19/10: Finished while listening to Turn of the Screw on CraftLit!
02/18/10: Listened to The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde on the CraftLit Podcast & got through the foot! All that’s left is the toe - woot!
02/17/10: Took to Purl ‘n Hurl & finished the heel gusset decreases.
02/16/10: Heel flap knit & heel turned! Note to self: M1 is not a good increase for socks; leaves holes.
02/14/10: Knit the last, half-triangle row of the entrelac pattern on Sock #2. Heel, foot, & toe are all that remain!
10/3/09: Still plugging away. About 3 pattern repeats into 2nd sock, thanks to an hour knitting in the car on the way to the Natural Fiber Fair in Redway today.
8/24/09: Cuff #2 done. Will there be enough yarn to finish?
8/22/09: 1 sock down, 1 to go!
8/21/09: Finished knitting on #1 today, but too tired to kitchener.
8/20/09: Took ‘em to Purl ‘n Hurl & despite 3 beers and a Cuba Libre, I only dropped 1 stitch. Long live knitting under the influence! Almost to toe decrease on sock #1.
8/16/09: Completed turning the heel while at the Humboldt Co. Fair today!
8/15/09: They went with me today when I knit with Bea at Farmers Market - KIPing at its summer best! Started the heel flap.
8/5-8/10: Took these to the inaugural Sock Summit (!) and worked on them a tiny bit. Too bad I didn’t think to have someone take a pic of me doing that with some famous knitter looking on!
7/15/09: Against my better judgement, I brought them w/ me to Crafters Under the Influence last night. Immediately fucked them up. Doh.
7/13/09: Took ‘em with me on my annual backpacking trip to the Siskiyou Wilderness, & although I didn’t get as much knitting time in as I’d hoped, I did get into the entrelac portion - way easier & less fussy than I anticipated!
6/13/09: Cast-on at WWKIP Day in Arcata, CA
