10/9/09: This is my first time working on double pointed needles. There are points everywhere!

10/11/09: I got to the three inch mark, accidentally did something funky, and had to rip the whole thing out. I started over, and I’m just about ready to switch to the size 7 needles. I intended on making this a striped hat, but judging by my horrendous laddering, it’s probably best I do the whole thing in dark blue.

10/13/09: Last night I switched to the size 7 needles. I’m about 4 inches along.

10/18/09: I’m finished! I put up a quick photo. I’ll take an “action” picture when Kai gets home.
