Notes

Another stash busting project :) I’ve wanted this scarf for quite some time, and I think I have the perfect yarn for it. Will have to rummage through my stash!

26.08.2017 - mods

After reaching the 31 sts I knitted another 32 rows. It wasn’t entirely intentional. I thought I was supposed to knit straight for 13.5 cm after the increases, but looking at the pictures and checking what other people did I realised I was wrong. Most others knit 21 rows after the increases, and then move on to the keyhole. I had already finished the 32 rows when I checked this, and as it looks as if it will work fine I decided to just leave it as it was and not unravel.

28.08.2017 - Finishing

This was indeed a quick and easy knit. I finished it in 3 days, which has to be a personal record for me.

The scarf came out at 80 cm long and 26 cm wide. The centre part measures a little under 40 cm (not including the keyholes. It’s a snug fit, very soft and cuddly, and I think it will be very warm.

If I’m to make it again I’ll most likely add some 5 cm to the centre part.

Just a little update on the length of the scarf. It stretches in use, so no need to add length if I decide to knit it again later.
