I wanted to knit these flat because I dislike magic loop and I didn’t have the right size DPNs on hand. So I cast on 26 st for the largest size plus 2 sts for seam allowance. I worked 2 garter stitch ridges and then worked st st, slipping the first st of each row unless it was a new color row. Because I was knitting flat I couldn’t follow the striping sequence exactly so I did (after the garter stitch): 4, 2, 4, 2, 4, 4, 2, 4, 2, 6 (5-st thumbhole on 2nd and 3rd row of this section), 2, 6.

The camel is not very soft but looks like it’ll develop a nice fuzzy halo after a bath/some wear. We’ll see.
