This yarn is so nice. Pricey, but so very, very nice. You need to get some. I’m not lyin’.
Just a stitch, not a pattern. “fancy” herringbone.
a multiple of 3 (+1)
Cable CO 38sts; 2-st garter edges, 11x3 +1.
5 inches unblocked; will need minimal/no blocking.
Wrong side looks nice, too; would be good for wild variegates
11/02: announcing finished while I had (1) daylight, (2) camera in hand, and (3) was already down on the floor. Will be finished tonight during football.
RS: Knit 1. yarn over, slip 1, knit 2, pass the slipped stitch over 2sts; repeat to end.
WS: Purl 1, yarn over, slip 1, purl 2, pass the slipped stitch over 2sts; repeat to end.
10/01: 26% of yarn = 12 inches. It should be okay.
10/03: Finally photos showing the color, and able to see the stitch on both sides. I really like this, even if it does eat up the yarn. Also, another project has taken main priority (includes much cabling), so this will be relegated to football knitting.
10/21: used 33g, 43%, 142 rows, ~20in.
10/24: used 49g, 65%, 210 rows ~30in.
10/25: dunno. did some more, it was football day. 244 rows. ~34-35in. weight might be pulling it down a little now.
11/01: 300 rows, not much left; length is acceptable. might get another 10-15 rows from remainder? I’m a bad guesser.
11/02: 326 rows.
11/03: A little fuss about binding off, but did EZ sewn bind off, and on the YO stitches, went through the back loop so it twisted and closed up a little. Not a match for the cast on, but looks good enough for my purposes.
~60” yarn left over.
About 5” x 45” unblocked.
