Ikarus wird von unten nach oben gestrickt. Durch gezielte Zu- und Abnahmen an bestimmten Stellen gewinnt es an Größe und erhält seine außergewöhnliche Form.

Für das vorgestellte Tuch benötigt man 2 Knäuel Schoppel-Wolle Pur in der Farbe „Oxyde“ (100% Schurwolle Merino, 100g/150m. Best.nr: 714 1659 Col: 1659 Oxyde), eine 6mm Rundstricknadel sowie 2 Maschenmarkierer.

Die Größe lässt sich durch einfaches Weiterstricken in der Musterfolge erreichen.

Ikarus is knitted bottom up. With specific increases and decreases at certain places it obtains its size and extraordinary shape.

For the shown sample above you need 2 skeins of Schoppel-Wolle Pur, colorway „Oxyde“ (100% wool, 100g/164yards. Col: 1659 Oxyde), US #10 /6mm circular needle and 2 stitch markers.

The size is easy adjustable by adding more pattern rows.
