I fall between the XS and S sizes, so I did 24 raglan increases, like many others.

When I got to the first set of increases for the body, I divided as follows: after 1st marker, K27, PM, K1, PM, K54, PM, K1, PM, K to end.

To increase up to size S for hips, on the second set of increases I increased at the side seams on rows 1 and 7 of 12, rather than just on row one, beginning after the first set of 12. This gave me the 6 extra stitches I needed on front and back.

When dividing for the pockets, I removed all stitches between the side seam and the first set of markers and placed them on a holder; cast on 14 with backward loop; kept the one stitch between these markers as part of the center stitches; knit the following 102 center stitches; remove next marker and knit the following stitch; remove marker and place the rest of the stitches up to the side seam on holder; backward loop cast on 14.

Front = 14 + 1 + 102 + 1 + 14 = 132

Sleeves: picked up 4 extra stitches at armhole, then decreased every 2” five times. Continue to 13”, then work 1 inch rib.

Body: work 12” after pocket, then 1 1/8” rib. Bind off with #5 needle.
