I just couldn’t wait!

As I suspected I would, I ran out of yarn. After seeing ProjectStash’s finished shawl, I decided to bind off with my normal stretchy bind-off, rather than the picot bind-off in the pattern. I had about 2 yards of yarn left after I finished.

Because I had so much less yarn than called for, I had to modify the pattern a little. I only did 9 repeats of the textured pattern, followed by 6 rows of garter stitch, and then the bind-off. So this one is really more of a shawlette. I may spin up more of this yarn later and make the shawl bigger, but for now I’m happy with it.
