Very quick to knit. Lovely and warm and Cosy. I loved the textured pattern.
Although my gauge was correct I found I needed five pattern repeats before starting the heel, but I have average size feet, so I don’t know what happened there.
I have a high instep and I found after casting off that the sock opening was rather tight. I re-did the cast off using a sewn cast off. This doesn’t look very pretty but at least it’s stretchy.
