The pattern was a gift from a fellow knitter some time ago. It is easy to follow and these little gnomes look so adorable.

For the green Katia Merino Sport, I used only 6 of the 8 strands of the yarn to match the weight of the other yarns.

The red yarn is baby alpaca that sheds an awful amount of hair, so the white face looks pink although the picture is even before blocking. I will try to run a razor or cut the red fibres around the face to get him whitened for Xmas.

The blue one is knitted without any pattern modifications. But I didn’t like the pointy feet and hands, so for the others, I didn’t decrease in the final round and simply pulled the yarn through the stitches to close the rounds without binding off.
