Lovely yarn, lovely colourway, very comfortable to wear. I knit both socks at the same time using magic loop.

• For the cast-on, I used Judy’s Magic Cast-On (14st on each side = 28st total). To determine the number of stitches to cast on, I used the formula of (foot circumference -10% / 4), but added a few more stitches so that the toe wouldn’t come out too pointy.

• Increases are done KFB every other round until I had the complete circumference (32st on each side = 64st). Then I knit straight for 60 rounds.

• The heels are done using short rows with stitch markers, as explained in the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRkAxZLhw3s&feature=yo...

• I knit 10 rounds of 1x2 rib before binding off.

• I used the elastic BO: k1, k1, insert the left needle into the front of these two stitches and knit them together.

Since I only used half the skein, I still have enough yarn for another pair..

La lana es preciosa y los colores también.. Es muy agradable de llevar. Tejí ambos calcetines a la vez, usándo el método magic loop.

• Monté los puntos con el Judy’s Magic Cast-On (14p en cada lado = 28p en total). Para determinar el número de puntos a montar, he usado la fórmula de (circumferencia del pie -10% / 4), pero he añadido unos puntos más para que la punta no sea tan puntiaguda.

• Los incrementos están hechos con el KFB cada seguna vuelta hasta obtener el número total para la circumferencia del pie (32p en cada lado = 64p). Luego seguí tejiendo sin incrementos 60 vueltas más.

• Para el talón seguí el método de las vueltas cortas usando imperdibles, como explicado en el siguiente vídeo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRkAxZLhw3s&feature=yo...

• Hice un elástico 1x1 de 10 vueltas antes de cerrar.

• Terminé con un cierre elástico: tejes dos puntos, luego pasas la aguja izquierda por delante de los dos puntos y los tejes juntos.

Usé solo la mitad de la lana, así que tengo para repetir..
