I am a lifelong left handed knitter with a background in science and a passion for plants.
My aim is to produce pieces that are constructed simply of natural materials, that are easy to wear or to live with, whilst highlighting the awesome beauty of plants often as seen through a magnifying lens.

I have tried to create instructions that are clear, logical and reduce the use of abbreviations. I use a lot of charts and strongly contrasting colours for visual clarity.

The pieces feature bold repeating patterns of colourwork or simple lace that are taken from drawings and observations of plant anatomy; some mine and many from history. Satisfying to knit and fun to grow.
