ADK- Deb

I’ve been knitting for over sixty years, but after retiring from teaching middle school math and science and moving to a remote area of the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York State, I’ve found time to follow some of those “What If” trains of thought and actually write some patterns.

My goal as a pattern designer is to create simple patterns for knitted projects that look much more complex. Thirty five years of teaching has given me the experience to be able to do that.
I belong to the Mystery 220 (more or less) group, and writing mysteries for that fun and friendly group has encouraged me to create some of these designs.

Many of my patterns are free. It’s a way to pay back the Ravelry community that has brought me much joy. The rest of the patterns have a small fee that goes into my fund to support my favorite designers who actually make a living doing this.

I hope you enjoy my designs. Please pm me through Ravelry with any questions or comments.
