I’m an independent (mostly) sock pattern designer obsessed with unique constructions and making patterns that are interesting to knit as well as to look at.

There are so many beautiful and intricately dyed yarns out there, sometimes it’s hard to find a pattern that really makes the yarn pop; lately I’ve been working on the balance between the yarn and the pattern and making sure one doesn’t totally obscure the other.

I enjoy designing for the yarn that my independent dyer friends create as well as designing for the easily accessible yarns from Knit Picks, Malabrigo etc.

All of my designs are available through Ravelry; some are also available through Knit Picks. My patterns are independently test knit and edited for clarity and errors, but if you do have questions please contact me (the fastest way to reach me is to email the address on the pattern! Unless I’m on a cruise ship I almost always can respond within 24 hours!) or post on the pattern’s comments thread and I’ll do my best to assist.

While I mostly focus on socks, I also occasionally design hats and other accessories.

By day, I’m a software architect and kitty mama. In addition to knitting I enjoy board games, video games, anime and trying out as many restaurants as I can.
