Bitsy Cohen
My username is BitsyKnits and my website is www.BitsyKnits.com
I am a knitwear designer, spinner, indie dyer, teacher, and general fiber fanatic. My house is home to over a ton of fiber (no really, I’m serious). I knit, spin, design, dye, felt, weave and crochet but knitting is my first love. If that isn’t enough, I have a lampworking studio tucked away in the garage where I create handmade beads and cabinetry knobs in my spare time. Anyway that I can play with color, I will. You can find me around the web at my own site, www.BitsyKnits.com, BitsyKnits on Facebook, at my blog, BitsyKnits.blogspot.com or on etsy where I present handpainted yarns and spinning fibers, BitsyKnits.etsy.com. I can also be spotted at Fiber Festivals and events all over the Northeast US, as a shopper, volunteer or vendor. Look for me tooling by in my highpowered scooter style wheelchair, I’m usually adorned by an elaborate lace shawl. See you soon, Bitsy
PS If you can’t get to me in person at a festival and you’re interested in a pattern check the etsy shop and see my blog entry on why my shawl patterns are not available as digital downloads.
