G’day! I am a young knitwear designer using texture and colour to evoke the beauty and strangeness of the Australian landscape. Inspiration from native species is transformed into modern, quirky and engaging knits that offer versatility across many wardrobes. Every piece is a statement piece here!

The overarching purpose of Elle in Yellow is to contribute to the creation of an ‘Australian knitwear aesthetic’ as iconic and identifiable as the more established regional styles from Europe and Scandinavia. To that end, many of my designs use yarns from Australian and New Zealand sources. This includes both commercial and indie yarns.

No matter where you are or where you come from, the Sunburnt country has warmth and wonder to share and I hope that with every stitch of one of my patterns you get to make a little patch of Aussie sunshine of your very own.
