I am a homebody with an adventurous streak. I fly airplanes for a living and I crochet, knit, and spin for fun, relaxation, and balance. I also sew, make candles and jewelry. I draw, paint, sculpt and love digital photography. I’m pretty crafty all around.

I enjoy the versatility of patterns for knitting. I love that it’s fairly compact to carry with me. I almost always have a knitting project tucked into my purse so that I’m never without something to do during my down time.

I absolutely love pattern books and magazines and I’ve got a ton of them. Still, I find myself wanting something really special for every ball of yarn that comes into my possession. It’s this reason that I’ve started designing patterns. I really enjoy putting together a special yarn with a fabulous stitch pattern and turning it into something unique. Hands are my favorite body part and small projects are my favorite things to make. Expect to see me turning out more glove and fingerless glove patterns. I think that’s my calling in knitwear design.
