I am a budding knitwear designer after having (at least) two previous careers, as a diplomat and a midwife. I have been an avid knitter for 30+ years and over the last 16 years I have been teaching knitting and setting up knitting communities wherever in the world we have lived. I even had a small Etsy business (Feltaroo, 2010-2013) selling my knitted and felted goods, but I never threw myself fully into design work.

After a brain injury in early 2017, despite extensive rehabilitation, I had to leave my full-time work and, in 2019, decided to try my hand at designing. I especially love designing patterns with my knitting students in mind. While I have LOTS of ideas in the works, I have only published a few so far as some parts of the work are still quite slow-going for me. I hope you enjoy knitting what you find here and find inspiration from what is yet to come.
