Hi, I’m Laura and welcome to Foothill Stitches. I am a mom to 4 daughters, ages 11-23, knitter, pattern designer, sewist/crocheter/crafter, organic gardener, avid reader, runner and lover of live music (bluegrass/jamgrass!!). I also work full time as a Middle School Lead Practical Arts Teacher and a 1st-5th Grade Lead Handwork Teacher at a local Waldorf-inspired public charter school. Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, I began my passion of knitting and designing in the foothills of Northern Colorado where my family has lived for over 25 years. I hope you enjoy knitting my patterns as much as I had creating them. Happy Knitting!
