Marie Segares
I’ve been crocheting since my grandmother taught me when I was 9. I conquered my fear of knitting in 2010, and haven’t looked back since.
I’m the crochet and knitting blogger, designer, and teacher behind Underground Crafter. The Underground Crafter Ravelry group (here) is where I host my crochet- and knit-a-longs. I share free patterns; crafty tips, tutorial, and product reviews; giveaways; and more on my blog. If you’d like to get access to coupon codes and other goodies, subscribe to my weekly newsletter.
I hosted the Creative Yarn Entrepreneur Show, a podcast filled with ideas for launching, managing, and evolving your indie yarn-related business, for two years and 71 episodes. I have written two books for other yarn industry indies: Design It, Promote It, Sell It: Online Marketing for Your Crochet and Knit Patterns and Make Money Teaching Crochet: Launch Your Business, Increase Your Side Income, Reach More Students.
All of my self-published (Underground Crafter) patterns use U.S. abbreviations. These patterns are for personal use only. You may use the patterns to make unlimited items for yourself, for charity, or to give as gifts. You may sell items you personally make by hand from the patterns. You may not sell, copy, or distribute my patterns. If you would like to teach a class based on any of my patterns, please contact me to purchase a commercial use pattern.
I can easily be reached via PM to MarieInNYC here on Ravelry or via email at marie@undergroundcrafter.com. Thanks for supporting indie designers!
