Hi there, I am Mellissa, the designer for Gingerbeez Creations. I love to create fun, colourful and unique accessories that you will have fun making and using.

I am a busy mom of three very energetic boys (my 3 ginger ‘beez’) and when I am not chasing them around, I am working on my next crochet creation. I love to crochet outside as much as our Canadian weather will allow, and I find myself drawn to making lots of warm and cozy accessories for chilly weather.

I have taught many people how to crochet over the years, and am always learning more to improve my skills and technique. I love to spin and weave, and am working on some of the other yarn arts like knitting and nalbinding.

I have been crocheting since I was around 10 years old, and have been creating my own designs for many years. I have only recently started writing up my patterns to share online and am looking forward to see all the beautiful things you create using my patterns.
