I am a South African who just moved to the UK. I was a nurse many years ago but the love of knitting has given me the chance to do something totally different.

Yarn and knitting to me are much like life. If you don’t like it and it does not make you happy you get to take it out and try again. Frogging and huge life changes are scary but they are usually always worth it.

Stories have the power to connect people and to change lives. I am passionate about telling stories and often use knitting to tell my story. Our story is our voice, it reaches across culture, distance and time to inspire, comfort and join us to others.
