Sew Silly Lily is a range of collectables, gifts, home and lifestyle accessories, all designed, hand crocheted or stitched by me, in my home on the bonnie banks of the River Clyde, near Glasgow.

I love simplicity, tiny detail, playing with colour, subtlety, practicality and playfulness. You will find a mixture of all these things in my work.

From the first silly thoughts that pop into my head, to the label that’s pinned on at the very end - every aspect of a Sew Silly Lily design is carefully considered and there is no compromise when it comes to choosing the right materials, yarns or trims. I make every piece as if it were the very first and no two are ever quite the same. This is the nature of things that are handmade and what I love most about making them.

At the moment I work part time for a button merchant; a dream job, and I spend the rest of my time being a mum, sewing, embroidering, crocheting, felting, needle felting, knitting, painting, baking, running …
