A team of two, Caneda and I design and write the patterns for Elusive Designs. After 14 years growing Tempe Yarn & Fiber, we have come to understand what knitters are looking for in a pattern.

It starts with an idea, then we bounce the concepts around, while Caneda decides what is and isn’t able to translate to written work so it makes sense. ( I get a little crazy sometimes with the designs.)

While I have more ideas than I know what to do with from all the swatches and miniatures I create, Caneda is the one who helps organize and document what I do, coordinates the testing of the patterns, then rewrites all that technical stuff, so you get a pretty solid pattern.

We love that we can offer our patterns here on Ravelry for those who can’t personally visit Tempe Yarn & Fiber.
