The Passap forma is a knitleader / knit radar type device which uses paper patterns to guide the knitter.

The “!” designates this as a “particularly easy and quick to knit” pattern - which it would be if you had the paper pattern and the Forma. Model 2513 in book 27 does not have the “!” easy knit designation, probably because it includes a fairisle motif. Knitting 2513 without the fairisle motif would make it a relatively simple knit.
