Behind the Scenes is a simple knit in two contrasting colours, with a simple yet stunning stitch pattern that transitions between the two colours. The shawl is equally beautiful on either side making it easy to wear. The pattern is simple stripes knitting with just one colour at a time.Suitable for adventurous beginners, intermediates and experts alike.

Size:
Gauge is not too important but about 22-23 sts and 36-38 rows on a 3.75 mm (US 4) needle in garter st.
The finished blocked size is 84” wide and 19” deep
Yarn required:
MC: 100g sock weight yarn minimum of 366m/300yds/100g I used Madelinetosh sock in colour paper
CC: 100g sock weight yarn minimum of 366m/300yds/100g I used Madelinetosh sock in colour Alizarin
A note on yarn choice: use very contrasting yarns. Best suited to either two solid colours or one solid and one variegated that has no colours in it that are the same as the solid contrast yarn.
3.25mm (US 3) circular needle 32”
3.75mm (US 5) circular needle 32”
Needle to darn in ends
Skills required:
You must be able to knit, Knit into the stitch below, kfbf, K2tog, p2tog, pfbf, icord.
