Destiny Calling Socks
♫ The Music ♫
The music of Yanni – inspiration, passion, magic!
These toe up socks showcase the beauty of Bavarian (twisted stitch) cables. They begin with a barn toe which uses varying rates of increases that mimic the shape of a hipped barn roof. The cable stitch patterns are worked on the instep, back and front leg. The stitch pattern is mirrored therefore each sock has its own charts/written directions for charts for the stitch pattern. The sole is worked in Stockinette stitch. The gusset increases are worked at the sides of the sole. The heel is turned using a short row heel cap which means no picking up stitches. The heel flap is worked in a ‘bee stitch’ pattern creating a very soft, padded heel.
These socks match the Destiny Calling cowl.
Stitch pattern is charted with written directions for the chart provided. Each size has its own set of stitch pattern written directions placed on their own pages for easy printing.
