Dorothy Jean Scarf
This scarf pattern is a tribute to my Mom, “Dorothy Jean”.
My Mom had a lifetime of dedication to the Arts and was so supportive of my knitting. She consistently helped me especially when it came to choosing color. I can’t think of a more special name than DOROTHY JEAN!
This scarf is warm and cozy. It nicely compliments the Dorothy Jean Hat. The “Slow and Easy Cable Stitch” was used for an overall cabled look. The cables are framed by vertical runs of the “Crossed Braid Stitch”.
The sample scarf was knit using 2 skeins of Madelinetosh Tosh
Vintage. Most any worsted weight yarn will work nicely for this scarf.
As a stand-alone scarf or combined with its matching hat, this pattern is the perfect unisex gift for that special someone in your life.
