The 2022 Lonely Hearts Club Hat design is knit with DK weight yarn, in the round, with twisted ribbing and duplicate stitching. Find a contrasting colorway to really make your hearts stand out. Choose between a folded brim and a flat brim highlighted by a contrast-color cast-on.

Size: 1 (2, 3); to fit Child (Teen, Adult).

Finished circumference: 14 (16, 18)”/ 35 (40, 45)cm, unstretched.

Finished height: 8.25 (8.75, 9.5)”/ 21 (22, 24)cm.

To be worn with 0 - 4”/ 0 - 10cm of negative ease.

Needles: US 6/ 4mm or size to obtain gauge, in 16”/ 40cm circular and DPNs; and US 4/ 3.5mm or 0.5mm smaller than gauge, in 16”/ 40cm circular.

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Stockinette stitch.

Folded brim:
MC: 120 (155, 190) yards/ 110 (142, 175) meters; and
CC: 2 yards/ 2 meters.
Flat brim:
MC: 100 (135, 170) yards/ 92 (124, 156) meters; and
CC: 2 yards/ 2 meters for motif and 4 yards/ 3.5 meters for cast-on.
