patterns > Seaside Squares Cushion
Notes
Notes
This eBook is for a small cushion cover featuring four beach-themed squares: a seashell, an ice cream, a sun umbrella and a lifebuoy. Each square pattern includes a variety of colourway options to inspire your creativity, allowing you to personalise your cushion to match your style. If you have a particular favourite design, you can choose to make four of the same square rather than mixing designs. The squares incorporate a mix of crochet techniques, including intarsia crochet, working in the round, surface slip stitch and appliqué. All techniques are fully explained within the pattern, providing a wonderful opportunity to explore and refine your skills.
⚠ It is written in English only, using US terminology. If you would prefer UK terminology, please let me know and I can provide this. ⚠
ABOUT THE PATTERN
Each square is the same size, measuring approximately 12x12 cm after blocking when made with DK yarn and a 4 mm hook. With the border included, each square has 21 stitches on each side plus 1 stitch in each corner, making them perfect for combining into larger projects. When you join four of these squares together, they match the size of the larger beach-themed squares available in my pattern shop, allowing for seamless integration in your projects. These squares are ideal for a range of designs including blankets, tote bags, and decorative items. This pattern provides detailed instructions on how to crochet the squares, join them together, and create a stylish cushion cover that fits a 25 cm x 25 cm cushion pad. You can also purchase all of these squares along with my larger beach-themed squares, as a bundle for my beach-themed blanket.
