Tibetan Euphony is a collection by Valentina Cosciani for mYak yarn.
Cosciani has designed a chic collection with pieces to be worn for warmth and comfort. These are garments and accessories created with the idea that you can adorn yourself with something beautiful every day.
In the spirit of inspiration, we asked our friend, Brooklyn- based Italian artist, Michela Martello, to be our model. She welcomed us into her art studio, an inspirational environment to showcase Valentina’s designs. In these photos you will see Michela’s artwork, a display of powerful and spiritual imagery. Much to our delight, Michela has used mYak yarn in many of her pieces.
We are so fortunate to be able to work with such talented artists who appreciate and share the values of mYak yarn. It gives us great pleasure to share the artistry of these two women, who have been able to showcase mYak yarn in unique ways.
The pattern names for Tibetan Euphony are references to the greater Himalaya range — an area of great dramatic beauty, with diverse ecologies that exist harmoniously. This area is where the fiber for our yarn comes from, its starting point and the spirit behind mYak.
